SBA invites entries for Small Business Week poster
The U.S. Small Business Administration is sponsoring a contest for the 1990 U.S. Small Business Week Poster.
The theme, Small Business: Leading America Into the 21st Century, must be incorporated in the design. The wording, U.S. Small Business Week, May 6-12, 1990, must also appear. Designs should show the importance of small business to the nation. The poster should be designed in no more than two colors on white paper measuring 16" x 20".
A $4,000 contract for final preparation and design of the winning poster will be awarded to the candidate whose entry is selected. Printed copies of the winning poster will be distributed nationally by March 1, 1990. The winner will also be invited to Washington, D.C., to be honored during U.S. Small Business Week.
A national selection committee consisting of representatives of government, small business, and the graphics community will select the winning design in December. Camera-ready art of the winning design only is to be submitted by Jan. 22, 1990.
Submit entries by Dec. 4, 1989, to the Office of Public Communications, 1441 L Street, NW., Room 926, Washington, D.C. 20416.
