Flea markets were never my thing, so I never would have predicted auction sites would become the hottest thing on the Internet. But with big players, like America Online and Warner Bros. last week, jumping into the auction action, an alliance with an auction services site has become this season's must-have online accessory. Even if much of the current interest turns out to be a fad, isn't it nice that we'll be able to place a value on all that stuff in the attic?
