Steidle Appointed as Senior Assistant to Bank Board's General Counsel
Bank Board Chairman Edwin J. Gray announced on December 2, 1983, the appointment of Rosemary S. Steidle as senior assistant to the Bank Board's General Counsel, Norman H. Raiden.
Ms. Steidle joined the Bank Board on June 6, 1983, as assistant to Chairman Gray for legal policy. In her new role, she will report directly to the General Counsel.
Prior to joining the Chairman's staff, Ms. Steidle practiced law with, and was an associate of, the Washington, DC, law firm of Elias and Matz. In that capacity, she had primary responsibility for representation of the National Association of State Savings and Loan Supervisors (NASSLS) with federal agencies, particularly the Federal Home Loan Bank Board and the Congress.
Ms. Steidle received her juris doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law in Fairfax, Virginia, where she was associate editor of the Law Review and was president of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.
She earned her undergraduate degree in English and journalism from the University of Notre Dame.
Ms. Steidle resides in Washington, DC.
