Getting technical
Kenneth LeeModern bowlers rely too much on high-tech equipment and too little on personal skill. They buy expensive balls, which they hurl toward the pins at warp speed, and call it bowling. The PBA, as a first step, should restrict tournament entrants to one ball of their choice that they have to use throughout the series. I would like to see a righthander try to convert a 10-pin spare with a hard-breaking ball that he would prefer to use just for strikes. This might even make the game interesting again.
