Mwenda Wa Bayexe/African Guitar Legend Jean Bosco (Rounder CD 5061) - The late great Jean Bosco was an itinerant master guitarist. His style would be copied, and his memory will be revered. It is good that we have examples of his craft. Bringing African music to the village and eventually the metropole since 1952 has not been easy. Bosco was one of the true pioneers who persevered against tremendous odds. But we can enjoy the sounds and marvel at the art of his innovator.
