I Pause, My Dipper Poised
Shan, HanConsider clear water, untinctured,
Transparent to its unseen depths.
Consider, then, the mind, so liquid
No form from the passing world takes shape.
Such a mind no ripple blemishes,
No sea change, no wind-blown wave,
No knowledge that spawns its opposite
To make the mind unknowable.
