Non-responsive Dialogue Between Self and Soul
Shan, Han"Sir," said self or soul, inattentively,
"How meaningless these poems seem."
To which, soul or self did not respond:
"An empty purse caused no ancient shame."
This provoked soul's laughter, or was it self's?
"You see, you make no sense in prose as well."
"The modern man," said one, and one agreed,
"Knows what a clinking pouch is for."
