If Mel Karmazin, CEO of Sirius Satellite Radio had any say in the matter, the next major upgrade for the iPod would be the integration of a Sirius tuner.

Apple seems less than likely to jump on either Sirius or XM's satellite radio bandwagon anytime soon.

According to the Financial Times, Karmazin has met with Apple and found that Steve Jobs does "not believe iPod users needed anything other than the ability to download thousands of songs."
