SHOT GIRLS BROTHERS ARE IN RIVAL GANGS
ROBERT JOHNSONTHE father of gun victim Charlene Ellis fears his fugitive son is on the run with the gang who carried out the shooting in Birmingham on New Year's Eve.
Arthur Ellis believes his son Marcus, 23, may have been involved in the shootout with a rival gang, the Burger Bar Boys, that left his sister dead and her 18-year-old twin Sophia wounded.
His other son Nathaniel is understood to be a member of the rival mob, the Johnson Crew, which he says is now believed to be plotting revenge.
Mr Ellis, 42, a born-again Christian who was once jailed for manslaughter, today pleaded with his sons to come to their senses.
He said: "Only now with their sister dead will they understand that this madness has to stop. They must open their eyes." He appealed for Marcus to give himself up. In an interview with the Daily Mirror, he said: "I don't know what you've done, but go to the police and tell them what you know."
His appeal comes as murder squad detectives investigating the deaths of Charlene and her friend Latisha Shakespear, 17, who were gunned down outside a party at a hair salon, say information is flooding in from witnesses.
Mr Ellis, a forklift truck driver, said Marcus was present as his sisters were hit amid a hail of 30 machinegun bullets.
He added: "I spoke to him and he was crying. I kept asking 'who killed your sister?' All he said was 'I don't know who done it'.
"I told him 'I need to know. I want to know the truth.' He told me 'I want to know the truth as well'. I wish I knew what was going on in his mind. His gang
