Man beheaded by guillotine

A MAN is believed to have beheaded himself with a home-made guillotine, police said today.

The body of Boyd Taylor, 36, was found by his father at the home they shared in Milbourne, Northumberland. Detectives believe Mr Taylor may have built a timer to activate the device which killed him in the early hours of the morning.

It is believed he had built a mechanism to set it off at a particular time.

Officers were called to the scene on Monday after the victim's father found the body.

A police spokesman said: "We are investigating the death of a 36- yearold man found at his home. There are no suspicious circumstances."
