Prime cuts: Ceres, Ca - skateparks - Brief Article
Aaron JonesHAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT to yourself, when going to a new skatepark, what kind of interesting street set-up might be there? Or wonder if outta all these parks being built that one of them would be all street obstacles? Not a majority of bowls, but a majority of ledges in different set-ups just like on the real streets? Well, Ceres has your skatepark.
Ceres, a small town next to Modesto in California's Central Valley, is all street terrain aside from one bowl and two hips. The rest of the park has a five-stair rail, a seven-stair, double sets with ledges on both sides, a four-stair straight ledge, two ledges over gaps in a row, a big three with low-to-high ledges at the ends, not to mention the bump to picnic table. Plus, other ledges and flat bars and banks to get you warmed up for this street park.
Kids of all shapes and sizes are there after school and on the weekends so go early. It might also get fenced in eventually.
