A berry nice pounds 20m for Dolores' baby
John RyanSexy Cranberries star Dolores O'Riordan has pounds 20 million in the bank for her new baby.
Limerick girl Dolores has made pounds 5 million from gigs and record sales every year since 1994, say the latest rock industry figures.
Her new baby, due at Christmas, will inherit a fortune. Secretive aides refused to discuss her money, but friends say she is one of the richest women in Europe.
Dolores, 25, and husband Don (pictured above) are building a mansion near her old home with a huge granny flat for her parents. Dolores and Cranberries tour boss Don got married three years ago in Holycross Abbey in Tipperary. The couple later paid pounds 2 million for a cliff-side home in the scenic Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, but now Dolores wants a new home.
Builders are being paid multi-millions to produce her dream home before her Christmas birth deadline.
Dolores said: "I'm a homebird at heart. We've sold nearly 20 million albums worldwide, but I don't let it go to my head. I'm overjoyed about the baby and I'm going to be a great Irish mum."
