Pounds 4m price of a room with view
CHRIS MURPHYA FORMER property developer is refusing to sell a field in Kent for more than Pounds 4 million - because he likes the view, writes Chris Murphy.
Roland Coleman, 89, insists on keeping the field opposite his house in the village of Hoo St Werburgh.
"Some people have said to me that I am mad because I have turned down Pounds 4 million, but what good is money?" he said. Developers want to build on 22 acres but Mr Coleman's land is in the middle of the site.
