Accies shock the top dogs
DAVID BELLACCIES clocked up their first home win of the season by shocking table-topping Falkirk.
But the Bairns, who had half a team out through injury, made homeless Hamilton sweat it out with a stirring second half performance.
And twice net-bound efforts were cleared off the line as they pushed for the points.
But Hamilton held out to gain a confidence booster and a first win for new boss Colin Miller.
Accies were quick to take advantage of Falkirk's injury crisis when Mike Geraghty struck with eleven minutes on the clock as he pounced on a 40 yard pass from Darren Henderson to slot the ball passed Paul Mathers.
And nine minutes later Henderson - Nicky this time - provided an inch perfect cross for young Gary Wales to score with his head.
Falkirk had only one shot of note and came from substitute Scott McKenzie on the stroke of half time with a 30 yarder that went whizzing inches passed.
But it was a different tale after the restart.
Eddie Cunnington cleared a Marino Keith header off the line before John Henry pulled one back.
On loan Henry was Falkirk's most influential player in a depleated midfield and capped that show with a well taken goal.
