BT sells personal number range to PNC Tele.com - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article

UK specialist telecomms provider PNC Tele.com Plc has purchased all of the

1.3m personal telephone numbers from British Telecom Plc's Flexinumber range for GBP350,000.

PNC intends to market the 07-prefixed number range through the retail outlets of its recently acquired KJC Mobile Phone and through its own dealer network in the UK.

PNC plans to become a fully switched national network operator, with complete interconnection expected in March 2001. Until then the company will host the newly acquired number range with its existing network partner.
