PLAYBOY CATHAL'S GET WELL GIFT ... A SPITFIRE
John RyanMillionaire playboy Cathal Ryan has bought his live-in girlfriend Grace O'Riordan a sports car as a get-well present - after she wrecked the couple's Land-Rover.
Grace was rushed to hospital after she crashed into a tree driving back to their home, Stacumney House in Celbridge, Co Kildare.
Cathal passed the crash scene later, not knowing that blonde Grace had been involved in the accident.
Minutes later he was rushing to the hospital to be by her bedside.
"Cathal was in tears when he realised she had been hurt," said a friend yesterday. "He's absolutely mad about Grace.
"He thought she was going to die - but she's getting on famously now.
"She's his best friend, lover and looks after his kids. You wouldn't believe how close they are."
And Cathal, who had highly-publicised affairs with Michelle Rocca and Sarah Linton, showed how much he cared by shelling out pounds 32,000 on a get-well red Spitfire for Grace. The crash happened just days after Cathal found he was worth pounds 40 million on paper after dad Tony floated his Ryanair company on the stock exchange.
Cathal separated more than a decade ago from Tess de Cretze.
They married after a whirlwind romance in Sri Lanka when he was working there as a pilot. They have two children Cillian,15, and Danielle, 14.
