Michael is gorgeous, one hell of a stud ... the best lover I have
Dennis Rice, Deborah SherwoodRaunchy rocker Michael Hutchence will spend his first Father's Day today explaining to the mother of his baby why he cheated on her.
While lover Paula Yates was looking after their 10-month-old daughter Heavenly Hiraana Tiger Lily in London the INXS star was having a sex fling with a stunning young model - and bingeing on cocaine and champagne.
Hutchence, 35, wooed blue-eyed brunette Carolina Rorich, 23, during the South African leg of his band's world tour.
Carolina, now living in London, told how they made love twice - and said: "You wouldn't believe Michael was a 35-year-old man. he has the sexual energy of a man much younger.
"He certainly is one hell of a stud. He is absolutely gorgeous."
It was only on their third meeting that Carolina - Carol to her friends - and Hutchence had sex in his penthouse suite at the Peninsular Hotel in Cape Town.
Earlier that night he had dedicated a song at his concert to her after giving the model eight tickets to take her friends to the gig.
Carolina said: "He was amazing on stage and near the end he did a song called Worlds Apart really passionately and said at the end, 'That was for Carol'. My friends and I went wild.
"Afterwards we all went back with Michael to the Peninsular Hotel bar. After a while Michael said he was going upstairs. He didn't invite me up then, but told me to come up later...with not too many other people.
"The whole place was going wild. There were fans everywhere asking for autographs. There were a lot of people around - it was getting irritating.
"I went up a little while later with a friend of mine, Kevin - a hair stylist. Michael ordered a really expensive bottle of champagne.
"Then two other friends of mine came up - my friend James said he had a camera in the car and Michael said, 'OK, two minutes'. James came up and took the picture.
"Then everyone left and it was just myself and Michael. We were talking and drinking champagne.
"We were both exhausted and he said, 'Come into the bedroom'. So we went in and talked some more on the bed.
"We took some coke, some more champagne. Then we both took off each other's clothes. He kept his undies on because I wanted him to keep them on at first.
"I was lying there in my pants and bra. There was a lot of kissing, then we ended up under the sheets.
"He took things really slowly. We were squeezing each other's calves.
"He was telling me I was beautiful. I was telling him he was beautiful. We were saying we could really be good friends.
"At that stage we were both pretty high. I was thinking, 'You're gorgeous, you're beautiful'. I really wanted to do the deed. He was making me feel wonderful - as nice as him.
"He was not pushing things at all. We had a cigarette. It got more passionate and it was obvious where it was leading, so I asked him about Aids. He said he was safe.
"I still said, 'Have you got a condom' and he said, 'Yeah, normally'. We carried on kissing and touching and then we started having sex.
"We did it once that night even though neither of us had a condom."
Carolina then recalled how 36-year-old Paula had rated Hutchence "God's gift to women" for his bedroom performances after she dumped Live Aid hero Bob Geldof, 41, three years ago.
Paula has also described Hutchence as "the sexiest man on earth" and said he had "the Taj Mahal of crotches".
She claimed the Aussie rocker did six things she was sure were illegal within the first hour of sex with Michael.
Carolina laughed knowingly and said: "Let's just say he is very adventurous and unselfish in bed. he really knows what he is doing."
Asked whether Michael was the best lover she had ever had, Carolina said: "There may be better out there - but I doubt it."
Carolina added that the rocker had the perfect body, and went on: "Paula is right to say he has the Taj Mahal of crotches."
They pair met in a Cape Town nightclub called The Function, where Carolina was having a drink with a girlfriend from London. It was his first night in South Africa.
She said: "I didn't chase Michael - it was the other way round. I honest to God didn't know who he was the first time I saw him.
"I was a little bit drunk and saw this gorgeous guy standing next to the stairs, so I went up to him and said, 'Hello I'm Carolina'. He said, 'Hello I'm Michael'.
"When I was at the bar I bumped into a friend of mine who is a TV director - I had done an advert with him for Cornetto a little while before.
"I asked him what he'd been up to. He said he was doing a music video with Michael Hutchence, the guy standing just behind me.
"I said, 'Michael Hutchence from INXS - sexy boy'. Then Michael came over and joined our group. Michael was chatting to everybody about politics and photographers.
"He seemed pretty interested in me. We sort of got on - we were very relaxed together. I wasn't treating him like a superstar and he liked that.
"I got up to go to the toilet and he said, 'Cool - let me come with you'. I said, 'OK better than having my girlfriend hold my hand - why not come along'. He was very touchy-touchy at this point. He was squeezing my thighs and bottom but not being too pushy.
"He just stood against the sink while I went for a wee then said, 'Come on Carolina, let's go out and party'.
"When we came out of the toilet a guy came up and said, 'Are you guys OK for dwellums (South African slang for drugs). Michael got one of his friends to give him some money for about a little bit (one gram) of cocaine."
Carolina then described how she and Hutchence took the drug. In the past he has admitted sniffing heroin and taking Ecstasy. Drugs were also found in a Smarties tube at the house he shares with Paula. Police investigated but the couple were not charged.
Carolina said: "We both went in the ladies toilet for a second time to take a line each. When we came out Michael said to share it out with my friends.
"We were chit-chatting. I told him about my father. Then I said 'Do you have a girlfriend?' He said 'Yes I do'.
"I said, 'What's her name'? He said, 'Paula'. I said, 'Cool'. And then he said, 'I have actually got a child with her'. I said, 'That's beautiful. You must take care and give your child as much love and affection as possible because a father is really important'.
"My father passed away a few months ago and he was sympathetic towards me about it."
Caroline then described how Hutchence started touching her: "There was plenty of physical contact. He was holding my **** and saying 'You are really sexy - kiss me'. I said 'No - you've got a girlfriend and a child'.
"He was like pulling me. He then tried to kiss me like he really wanted to kiss me. He said, 'Come on baby, kiss, kiss, kiss'.
"I said, 'If you get one kiss on the lips count yourself lucky'. I only gave him the one kiss all night which he thought that was hysterical.
"We had another line of coke. We were having a really, really good time. It was 4am when we left the club and a whole lot of us went back to Michael's penthouse suite.
"Michael ordered three bottles of fancy champagne and played some CDs that he takes around with him.
"He did not play any INXS tapes. We were playing music until ten in the morning. I then took my friends home."
A couple of days later she was invited to the concert and that night they ended up in bed. Carolina woke up with Hutchence's arms wrapped around her.
She said: "We had sex again - you might not believe this but it was even better than the night before."
Then they went their separate ways - Hutchence to a concert in Durban and Carolina back to work. "We spoke a few times on the telephone. The only time he was a bit funny with me was when I said I was travelling to London the following week," said Carolina.
"He suddenly seemed worried. He said be careful what you say in bars and stuff there. He took my London number down and said he would call me in two weeks but he never did."
Carolina is now working in a restaurant - while she looks for modelling work - a few miles away from the Chelsea home Hutchence shares with Paula and their baby.
Carolina said that if Paula cheated on Hutchence "he would be very jealous". She added: I've heard him say in interviews, 'You've got to have sex with rock and roll' - now he's facing the consequences."
Hutchence has pledged undying love for Paula. He once said: "Paula and I are truly happy together."
Hutchence checked out of the Manchester hotel where he had been staying at lunchtime yesterday. And last night Paula's lawyer, Mark Stephens, refused to comment.
Carolina had a final message for Paula: "Forgive Michael for the sake of your baby."
