Sean KellyCAIS Software Solutions, in partnership with Oceanic Cable--a division of Time Warner--is the first service provider to offer high-speed cable Internet access to Hawaiian island hotel guests. The installation of IPORT broadband provisioning systems (BPS) in the 545-room Outrigger Waikoloa Beach Hotel & Resort is the first in the Outrigger hotel chain--the largest on the island.
The partnership combines IPORT BPS with Time-Warner cable services, to provide Internet access to hotel guests. IPORT works with any form of high-speed access, including DSL, cable, and wireless. Guests will now have high-speed Internee access through their laptop computers for their suites, the Voyagers Club, and cabana rooms, or by using any of the hotel meeting rooms.
