At the Vancouver Convention, the members engaged in a roundtable discussion as to how they can contribute to obtaining new members. A few of the ideas include:

If you meet an Attorney-CPA, tell them about the organization and ask them to join. You may wish to keep prior issues of the AAA-CPA newsletter for the application on the back page.

Tell me you are a member Display your membership certificate. Note your membership in the Association where appropriate on your business cards, brochures or letterhead.

Give a law student or newly admitted lawyer a membership as a gift.

The Association, under the leadership of Mitch Rabil (New Jersey), is conducting a long-term strategic plan.

Some ideas already being reviewed are:

Working more closely with Beta Alpha Psi chapters and similar law student programs.

Supporting the Foundation Essay Contest.

Honorary faculty memberships or faculty orientation programs tied to conventions.
