UNUSUALLY nervous for a Spice Girl, a tired Victoria Adams last night showed signs that the pressures of impending motherhood, on top of being one of the world's most photographed women, is taking its toll.

Accompanied by her remaining fellow group members, Baby, Scary and Sporty, Posh was in town - without husband-to-be David Beckham - for the ASCAP Presentation Awards.

The Spice Girls won the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, top award as Writers of the Year and their hit 2 Become 1 was named Song of the Year. Also present at last night's ceremony at the Landmark Hotel, Marylebone Road, was former Take That star Gary Barlow and members of the rock band Radiohead.
