FRIDAY the 13th dawns again tomorrow and superstitious Britons will be crossing their fingers hoping it is third time lucky, writes Ian Fletcher.

The last of the three Friday the 13ths this year - after one in February and one in March - is likely to see soaring absenteeism as fearful workers decide to play it safe at home. Gale force winds and heavy rain could add to the chaos.

Recent surveys show that 41 per cent of people feel uncomfortable about Friday the 13th and four per cent actually dread it.
