CC seeks win No. 2 after last week's rally
FOR THE GAZETTEColorado College shoots for its second consecutive victory Saturday when the Tigers host North Central College of Naperville, Ill., in a 1p.m. contest at Washburn Field.
It is the second meeting between the teams, with North Central having claimed a 35-20 win at home last season.
The visiting Cardinals bring a 1-0 record to town after opening their season with a a 55-0 rout of Benedictine University last week.
Senior quarterback Jay Macias of Colorado College (1-1) has passed for 715 yards and seven touchdowns this season, including three scoring tosses in last Saturday's come-from-behind 21-20 win over McMurry University.
