Young artist - Brief Article
Michael WuMy kindergarten teacher was the first person to encourage me in painting. She asked the whole class to read a book and write a story about it every day. It was difficult, so sometimes I drew a picture instead of writing. Guess what? She liked my pictures and always wrote nice comments about them.
Ever since then, I draw on paper when something gets me interested. Drawing is fun, it has become one of my hobbies. I like working with pencils, clay, crayons, color pencils and oil pastels--pretty much any material available.
Drawing landscapes is my favorite. The color of fall is amazing--changing every day. I was out one afternoon and a cool breeze swirled by, some grass and plants were still left green, since it was not too close to winter. I felt that I was in a different wonderworld and my imagination went wild, then I mixed colors to capture the beautiful view.
I love everything about art, but I still can't say that I love art the best. Actually, I like different kinds of activities, such as math, piano, soccer, skiing, Tae Kwon Do, and playing Nintendo games. I maybe like playing Nintendo and skiing the best.
