If you are looking for something to bring you up to date on the impact of change on the business environment, you will be interested in this book. It outlines some recent developments in business theory. There are chapters on lean production, the human impact of organisational change and current changes in marketing, among other topics. There are some interesting case studies.
The book would be good value as a library purchase, but only if there are able students looking to go beyond the normal syllabus requirements. Its main value is as an inspiration to the teacher who wants to adopt a fresh approach.
