Concrete creations in Denver - Garden Guide - garden decor store, Denver, Colorado - Brief Article
Colleen SmithCarlo Amato of Denver has been turning out ornamental garden decor since 1922, when the company was founded by Carlo Amato Sr., an immigrant from Italy. His grandson Carlo Amato now operates the business, which continues to craft high-quality decorative concrete pieces on the premises near the heart of downtown Denver.
Each spring, Amato's outdoor showroom comes alive with the splashing music of dozens of fountains and bursts of color from flower-filled urns and planters. Amato's inventory includes large birdbaths, statues, and surprisingly comfortable concrete benches and chairs. Prices range from $25 for a life-size rabbit sculpture to $9,800 for a multitiered fountain. Amato's offers delivery service and installs fountains and other sizable objects.
