InfoAmerica Ready for Installation of Fiber Optic Network in Tijuana - Brief Article

InfoAmerica Inc. (IFOA) has completed the "make-ready" for installation of the first segment of its long-awaited broadband fiber optic network in Tijuana. The infrastructure will be constructed in 50 mile segments starting from the massive population growth area of Matamoros on the east side of the city, to the beach areas in the western area of the city, and south to Rasarito. The network will deploy the latest in design electronics utilizing the most advanced technology including DWDM from Nortel Networks.

The strand and coaxial cable necessary for the first segments will deployed immediately and placed in the electrical poles of the Mexican electric company, CFE, by Cable California SA de CV, IFOA's Mexican subsidiary.
