Football: Joos-t in time
DAVID KINGCELTIC 1 KILMARNOCK 0
CELTIC snatched a late win against Kilmarnock to maintain their lead at the top of the SPL thanks to an injury-time goal from Joos Valgaeren.
Bobby Williamson's plucky Kilmarnock side looked to be on course for a share of the spoils until the big Belgian defender bundled the ball over the line from a Neil Lennon free-kick in the 91st minute to give the Parkhead side all the points.
Celtic dominated the majority of the first half and were unlucky not to be in the lead by the interval but they spurned countless chances much to the frustration of manager Martin O'Neil.
The second half followed a similar pattern and the game seemed to be slipping away from Celtic until the dying seconds when Kelly failed to defend a curling free-kick from Lennon which dropped to Valgaeren and he knocked the ball over the line to wrap up the three points.
