Your Letters: Reader's letter
James KingIT'S GREAT that a British Rose Garden is to be created in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. But I'm ashamed that it was left to an American, Bonnie Masterson, to raise the pounds 20million to sponsor it. This should have been done by the Diana Memorial Committee.
I saw Princess Grace's rose garden in Monaco. It contained more than 4,000 roses named after her favourite stars. I'm sure Bonnie's British Rose Garden will be equally breathtaking. But it's infuriating that it takes a foreigner to expose our lazy attitude to a princess deeply loved and missed.
