WHEN is this country going to get its priorities right? I refer to the news that Jon Venables, one of Jamie Bulger's killers, has been treated to cinema trips and other activities to "build his character" before his release. It seems the feelings of Jamie's family have been totally ignored. I realise that Venables and Robert Thompson may have changed since they committed this terrible crime. But it's time the authorities showed some compassion for victims' families facing a life sentence.
