Football: Forest don't lose their Edds; FOREST 3 GRIMSBY 1
DANIEL JAMESDAVID Johnson scored his first goal since joining Forest to complete a remarkable second-half comeback by David Platt's side.
Forest trailed to a 15th-minute strike by Stuart Campbell and were in danger of losing ground in the race for a play-off position.
But they got inspiration from young Aussie Gareth Edds, who struck a superb equaliser to ignite Forest's victory bid.
Edds, on as a substitute, picked up a pass from Andy Johnson and cut inside on to his left foot before exploding an unstoppable shot past Grimsby keeper Danny Coyne 10 minutes after the break.
Town, who had deservedly been in front, found themselves trailing two minutes later when Keith Foy delivered a cross to Christian Edwards, whose downward header flew past Coyne.
Forest fans, who had jeered the team off at half-time, were in celebration mood - and Johnson sealed it in the 86th minute.
Another Foy cross caused the problems, and when David Freeman headed down, Johnson had an easy task from close range.
STAR MAN: Gareth Edds.
His enthusiasm sparked Forest to life.
