COPS' HOMES TORCHED
MICHAEL DUFFYARSONISTS set fire to the homes of two police officers as they slept inside with their families.
The houses, just a mile apart in Clacton, Essex, were broken into and torched around 5am yesterday. Firefighters managed to put out the fires before anyone was injured. Although police are linking the two blazes, they did not reveal whether the officers were working on the same cases, or how their addresses were found.
An Essex police spokeswoman said: "The officers and their families were shocked by the attacks."
