Football: A Claus call; MILLWALL 0 BOURNEMOUTH 1
STEVE GRIFFITHSJERMAINE Defoe's sensational goal spree was halted at last, but he was still on the winning side as Claus Jorgensen stunned the Lions.
Defoe (below) saw his record-equalling run of 10 goals in 10 League games end as he wasted a series of great chances in the second half.
But Sean O'Driscoll's side took the points when Jorgensen headed in Wade Elliott's cross in the sixth minute.
Millwall boss Mark McGhee said: "They are an emerging team and deserve this. We showed a lot of commitment, but never really looked like taking a chance."
The Lions should have salvaged a point but Paul Moody was denied twice. His glancing header skimmed the bar in the first half, and after Lucas Neill's run he should have done better from close range.
