The next Pope cannot possibly be an Ulsterman now Sean Brady has been passed over for a cardinal and Cardinal Daly is too old to take part in the next Papal election.
The sitting Catholic Archbishop of Armagh was trad-itionally been given the purple hat during the Troubles.
So why was Archbishop Brady overlooked? Could it have anything to do with President McAleese taking communion in Christchurch Church Of Ireland cathedral, Dr Brady didn't get involved in the following criticism?
