Brain TwomeyA REPORT in America claims that SUVs are no safer than regular cars in the event of an accident.
The report published in the medical journal Pediatrics claims that children are only slightly safer in an SUV in the event of a collision and that the more crucial factor in an accident is proper safety restraints.
The report also suggests that while SUVs are safer in a collision this is offset by their tendency to turn over' the report says that turnover accidents carry a higher risk of injury.
