CHANTELLE TO SING HER 'HIT'

FAKE celebrity Chantelle will be forced to sing her pretend hit in the Big Brother house.

The Essex model will be given just one chance to practise the song before performing in front of housemates in a test to be shown in tonight's BB highlight show.

The task is part of a "show and tell" challenge for the celebrities. Chantelle must convincingly perform the song I Want It Right Now - specially written for Big Brother - in an attempt to maintain the deception that she is a famous pop star. Rapper Maggot has to perform his hit Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do, and Pete Burns will sing a song of his own. Basketball legend Dennis Rodman has been told to perform a slam-dunk and spin a basketball on his finger.

Sven Goran Eriksson's ex Faria Alam was told to write and deliver a 90-second speech on Why I Am Famous, as was model Jodie Marsh. Michael Barrymore must write and perform a 90- second sketch of his own choosing. Actress Rula Lenska has been asked to deliver a monologue from Shakespeare's Macbeth and Baywatch babe Traci Bingham will give a demonstration of slow-motion running in a swimming costume.

If the housemates fail, they will have only pounds 1 per person per day to spend on food for the next five days. If they pass, they will get more.
