VOLVO is unveiling this new concept car, called the C30 at the Detroit motorshow. The concept gives a strong indication of how the final version of the C30, due for release this September, will look.

The C30 is intended to compete in the growing compact premium segment occupied by the Audi A3, BMW 1 series and high-end Volkswagen Golfs. Power comes from a 2.4 five-cylinder turbo engine already used in the current Volvo range as well as the new Ford Focus ST' 260bhp gives 0-100km/h in six s econds.
