FOOTBALL: IT'S A BIT ROCKY FOR BOSS JOCKY; NOTTS CO 0 WYCOMBE 1
TERRY BOWLESCOUNTY boss Jocky Scott is facing a crisis meeting tomorrow after Wycombe inflicted the first home defeat of the season on his new- look side.
Despite including 10 new signings made during the summer, Scott's men have still not taken off - and Peter Storrie, the club's deputy executive chairman, confirmed his displeasure.
He said: "We were flat and lacked motivation, but it's not just about one man."
County were sunk by a 63rd-minute strike from Andy Rammell, who escaped the attentions of his marker to turn in a cross from Darren Currie.
It was no more than Wycombe deserved, although County will point to an incident two minutes earlier as having a crucial influence.
The flying Dutchman Marcel Cas got away down the right and presented an easy chance to former Wycombe striker Mark Stallard, who scooped it over the top from near the penalty spot.
Wycombe, with only one point on their travels before this game, were understandably delighted with the points - and a performance that saw them able to open up County at the back with some ease.
