Football: Moore(s) too much for Lions; MILLWALL 0 BURNLEY 2
STEVE GRIFFITHSBURNLEY took advantage of calamitous defending to maintain their 100 per cent start in the league.
Second-half goals from Ian Moore and Alan Moore gave Stan Ternent's side three wins out of three - and they had their hosts to thank for gifting them both goals.
There seemed little danger when Millwall's Sean Dyche went to clear a loose ball from the edge of his penalty area in the 63rd minute.
But keeper Tony Warner came rushing out and collided with his defender - allowing Ian Moore to roll the ball into an empty net from ten yards for his first goal of the season.
The Millwall defence were caught sleeping again six minutes later.
Gareth Taylor was allowed to stick the ball towards Alan Moore and the former Middlesbrough winger took advantage of acres of space in the penalty area to fire home off the far post.
It was a harsh lesson for Mark McGhee's First Division new boys, and to make matters worse for the Lions, midfielder Steven Reid was shown the red card in the 89th minute for foul and abusive language towards a linesman.MAN OF THE MATCH IAN COX
