In your story "A Five-Fingered Loan?" [The Nation, February 19] about a man named John Loan who was charged with grand larceny for allegedly embezzling $3 million from his employer and donating it to various LGBT and AIDS organizations in New York, you repeated Loan's erroneous claim that much of this money was donated to Gay Men's Health Crisis. Our records clearly show that in our 20-year history, Loan has never made any contributions to GMHC. Trust me, we would have noticed a contribution of $3 million.
