YOUR LETTERS: RODGERS TO FOOT-AND-MOUTH RESCUE
Ryan McAllister, DerryOUR politicians may have their differences, but when it comes to running this country, they can work together like no other.
Take the Northern Ireland Assembly for example. Not so many years ago the politicians were continually at each other's throats like dogs.
Now that they are in Government, it's a different story and Northern Ireland is being governed extremely well.
Special mention must go to Brid Rodgers who has excelled in her role as agriculture minister.
The foot-and-mouth epidemic has put a huge strain on the farming industry, but she and her department has responded admirably and at the moment the country has escaped relatively scot-free from this awful disease.
Much of that is down to the excellent work of the governments on both sides of the border, and also to Ms Rodgers.
