Your Letters: No business like snow business
R BlackNO more am I dreaming of a white Christmas... not after last week's fiasco!
Despite warnings of snow on the way, the last people to heed these were... the Roads Service.
As a result the roads were chaotic and the motorways were just as bad.
As a commuter from Magherafelt to Belfast, it took me three-and-a- half hours to get home on the first night of the snow.
Where were the gritters in our greatest hours of need? All we seemed to get from the Road Service were excuses.
It's not enough.
Motorists pay tax to drive on the roads and it's up to the Government to maintain the roads no matter what the weather.
I hope the chaotic scenes on the M2 out of Belfast on December 27 are never repeated.
