Tarnished arches - reader forum

I was very offended by the fact that a company that tries to help many charities and claims to give back would persecute one of its own, as McDonald's did with its lifelong employee Russell Rich ["Big Mac Attacks," April 16]. This is such a clear example of what a company really feels about an issue when it is not something it can publish and gain a lot of glory from. McDonald's should be ashamed of itself.
