Chiang-Mai Tusnaporin Co - Travelers' Intercom - Letter to the Editor

I read with interest the readers' letters on page 22 of the February '03 issue and would like to state we agree totally with the remarks of the reader who wrote the letter titled "Pleased with Dining Set from Thailand."

Several years ago my wife and I visited the showroom of Chiang Mai Tusnaporin Company (123 Moo 3, Chiang Mai-Sankampang Rd., Chiang Mai 5000 Thailand) and purchased a large rosewood dining table and six chairs. Their showroom offered a good selection from which to choose and the staff people were very courteous and helpful in aiding us in our selection.

What amazed us was that this heavy purchase could be placed so carefully in one large shipping container and still arrive without a scratch. The shipping and delivery schedules as well as the charges were as outlined at the time of purchase.
