Football: Another late Hess-up for unlucky Gills; NORWICH 1
DANIEL PRICEPLAYER-MANAGER Andy Hessenthaler was left cursing his bad luck as Gillingham were sunk by a late winner for the second week running.
The Gills, who lost to a late goal against Birmingham last week, went down to Chris Llewellyn's 77th-minute strike.
Hessenthaler said: "It always looked like ending in a draw and it was very disappointing to concede another late goal."
Battling Gills, who have now gone eight games since their last clean sheet, were again guilty of sloppy defending.
Darren Kenton was allowed to get clear down the right wing and when Nicky Southall slipped at the far post, Llewellyn was left free to head home.
But Gills could have snatched a draw six minutes from time, when Iffy Onuora thumped a header against the post.STAR MAN: Alex Notman.
Impressive home debut.
