I WAS appalled to read the British governments is planning to hand out guns licences to Sinn Fein.

They are giving former IRA men gun licences so they can legally own a weapon to protect themselves.

It is just another example of how the two Governments repeatedly make concessions to the terrorists.

We do not give gangsters coming out of Mountjoy guns to protect themselves.

If Veronica Guerin's killers were in danger, Bertie wouldn't be giving them handguns.

We should stop treating terrorists as retired army men.

They are thugs not heroes.
