Reward for Lucie soars to pounds 500,000
SARAH WHITETHE reward for the safe return of vanished Lucie Blackman reached half a million pounds last night after an anonymous businessman offered pounds 400,000.
Lucie's father Tim has already offered pounds 100,000 to anyone who can help him find his 22-year-old daughter, who disappeared in Tokyo on July 1.
Mr Blackman, from Sevenoaks, Kent, said: "This huge offer raises our optimism.
"This sum is aimed at organisations who might have her incarcerated somewhere."
