FORMER Big Brother star Anna Nolan was recovering last night after being mugged.

The RTE presenter was attacked at 2am on Saturday on her way home from a night out in Dublin.

The lesbian and former nun was pushed to the ground by her attacker.

A pal said: "It happened in Long Lane off Clanbrassil Street. The attacker stole her mobile but some passers-by saw what was happening and raced over to help her.

"They managed to chase after and catch the person who did it."

Gardai confirmed that a man was arrested after assaulting an woman in the area and said the attacker had been apprehended.
