BREAK-UP BLOW FOR BOXER SCOTT
EXCLUSIVE By GILL SMITHSCOTS boxing champ Scott Harrison has split from his long-time fiancee, the Sunday Mirror can reveal.
The WBO featherweight champ has been KO'd by Jackie Reoch after a 10-year relationship.
The couple have a three-year-old son, Scott Jnr.
Petite blonde Jackie, 28, has moved into a tiny council flat near her parents' home in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire.
Meanwhile Harrison is still living at the couple's plush bungalow home in Cambuslang where he is in training for his next title bout in June.
A source said: "It's obviously very hard on the two of them - they've been together for quite a few years.
"But obviously Scott will always have contact with Jackie because of Scott Jnr who he will always make sure is looked after."
The pair met at the Splash disco in East Kilbride when Harrison was a council joiner and Jackie a shop worker. She wrote her phone number on his arm with her lipstick and the love-struck fighter called her the very next day. Romance blossomed and two years ago they were married.
At the time Harrison said: "Jackie's amazing. She keeps my feet on the ground."
Jackie's flat is a far cry from the luxury of Harrison's home which has spectacular views of the Clyde Valley.
Harrison hit the big time three years ago when hebeat Argentina's Julio Pablo Chacon atthe Braehead Arena.
After he won the coveted title Jackie sprinted across the ring to congratulate him and nearly knocked him over.
At her new home Jackie confirmed the couple had split.
She said: "There isn't anyone else but it's finished and I don't want to talk about it because it's personal."
The boxer, who will defend his WBO crown against Michael Brodie on June 3, hasn't had the best of years.
Last June he was accused of assaulting Jackie's ex- boyfriend Colin Reid. He was cleared of the assault.
Then a few months later he became embroiled in a bust-up over an unpaid taxi fare.
Last week the boxer admitted resisting arrest and sentence was deferred.
