THIS is where fugitive Alfred Blane hid as police searched his home from top to bottom.

Police almost gave up on finding the the suspected burglar, who was on the run. Then sniffer dog Leto barked and scratched at the TV - where 6ft tall Blane, 45, was curled up inside. At first officers thought the dog had found drugs but were astonished to find Blane squashed inside as they took the set apart in Bainbridge, Georgia, US. Lt Tim Watkins said: "I guess he thought it was not as uncomfortable as where he is now."
