Your letters: They're taking the pea

I COULD not believe my eyes when I came across the article in your story last Sunday about the development of larger peas by Tesco. Is it me, or is the world going completely bonkers? Surely if parents encouraged children to eat vegetables and taught them to use cutlery from an early age, there would be no need for masses of money being wasted on developing a bigger pea. Who are these idiots in think tanks?
